Texas Hill Country Unveils Interactive Guide to 69 Wineries

New digital platform offers comprehensive insights into the region's vibrant wine scene

Texas Hill Country Wineries (THCW) has partnered with Wine Folly to introduce an innovative online guide, providing an immersive experience of the region's 69 member wineries.

This dynamic platform is structured into six key sections: wines, wineries, terroir, history, region, and travel.

The Wines section features detailed profiles of 418 varietals, with Mourvèdre leading at 32 entries, accompanied by tasting notes and pairing suggestions.

In the Wineries segment, users can explore featured estates or filter the directory by grape varieties, amenities, and geographic zones.

The Terroir section delves into local soil types, climate factors, and elevation effects, while the History timeline traces winemaking in the Hill Country from early European settlers to the present.

The Region tab offers an in-depth look at official AVA boundaries and scenic routes, and the Travel section provides curated wine-trail itineraries, lodging recommendations, and tasting-room etiquette.

Described as a "first-of-its-kind digital resource," the guide promises ongoing updates, mobile-friendly navigation, and real-time event listings.

Whether planning a weekend tasting or studying regional specialties, this platform brings the essence of Texas Hill Country Wineries to your fingertips.

Texas Hill Country is a place of rolling hills, limestone creeks, and postcard sunsets—where winding roads lead to friendly towns like Fredericksburg, Wimberley, Marble Falls, and Boerne. It’s a region rich in German heritage, wildflowers, wine trails, and front porch traditions. Life here moves a little slower, a little sweeter, and always with a neighborly wave.
